Each fragrance a fable

Scents for the nose, stories for the mind

Rooted in our long-standing reverence for literature and our namesake, Aesop—the ancient Greek fabulist—the inspirations and emotions behind our fragrances are distilled into fable—like poems to pose questions through scent.

Unmistakably Aesop

The amber bottle, enhanced

While no story should be judged by its cover, the Fragrant Fables arrive in pleasingly tactile bottles, with a new textured cap inspired by Basalt rock native to our home city of Melbourne, and embossed insignia on the amber glass.

Unconventional aromas

The unique olfactory signature

Each fragrance is composed of a Radical Ingredient —an unfiltered botanical extract— and the Fabulist Accord, a medley of ingredients that gives scent to that which has no aroma in nature.

Guidance

The Fragrance Finder

Much like literary preferences, aromatic choices are a personal affair. To assist in pinpointing the aromatic notes and narratives that might most speak to you, virtual guidance is on hand.
